This website is operated by Stanislav Shchukin, trading as Big Bad Stan ("Big Bad Stan", "I"). This policy explains what personal information is collected when you use bigbadstan.co.uk, why, and what your rights are.

What is collected

When you send an enquiry through the quote form, the question form, or contact me by phone, WhatsApp or email, I receive the details you provide: typically your name, phone number, email address, postcode, property type and a description of the pest problem. The website itself does not use tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

Why it is used

Your details are used for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a customer, to arrange and carry out the work — quotes, appointment scheduling, site reports and invoicing. The lawful basis is your consent when you submit an enquiry, and the performance of a contract once work is booked. Your details are never sold or shared for marketing.

Where it is stored and for how long

Form submissions are delivered by email and stored in a secure log so no enquiry is lost. Records of completed work (site assessments, visit reports, invoices) are kept for up to six years, in line with UK tax record-keeping requirements. Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months.

Third parties

The website is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which processes technical data (such as IP addresses) to serve and protect the site. Postcode lookups used to estimate coverage are performed against postcodes.io using the postcode alone. Anti-spam verification is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent at any time. Email stan@bigbadstan.co.uk and it will be handled directly. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
